北京中学的学生虽没有亲临矗立于泰晤士河岸边的莎士比亚环球剧院，却在校园里真切地体验了一把“大师级”课堂。9月14日，由英国大使馆文化教育处引荐，英国莎士比亚环球剧团四位戏剧教育专家莅临北京中学参观指导，也同时为学生带来了一堂别开生面的戏剧课堂。

亲切随和的Kevin Bennett老师带着孩子们通过戏剧工作坊《威尼斯商人》的排练，深入浅出地与学生们一起深刻分析人物，以及讲解表演精髓技巧，让学生了解如何将自己的肢体语言从突出重点升华为体现事件状态及人物性格；而通过很多轻松的破冰活动，更是让孩子们在专注的同时了解到团队合作的重要性。随后，Georghia Ellinas、Neil Constable两位莎士比亚环球剧团的戏剧教育专家对我校的戏剧表演课进行深入了解及指导，为以后进一步合作奠定基础。

莎士比亚环球剧院是英国戏剧艺术的中心。中国人说“不到长城非好汉”，那么，在英国恐怕只有看了莎士比亚的戏剧方能算是真正到了英国。莎士比亚环球剧院即是一座专为欣赏、研究莎士比亚及其同时代优秀剧作家的作品而建造的世界级剧院。

戏剧表演课是北京中学一门特色的艺术类课程，重在培养学生对事物的理解、表现和感悟，陶冶情感,激发学生对表演艺术的学习兴趣，从而提升对美的认识，在表演实践中自我认识、自我发现、自我提升。戏剧表演课从艺术的实践层面帮助学生全面理解“仁”、“智”、“勇”、“乐”，在提升理解能力的同时学会学习，在提升沟通能力的同时学会共处，在提升感悟能力的同时学会生活，在提升创作能力的同时学会创新。该课程是北京中学为培养具有北京特色、中国气质和国际素质的全面的高素质人才所开设的一门特色必修课。

Impressive experience with SGT

I have been addicted to William Shakespeare's plays for quite a long time. I have read many famous plays written by him and I also watched a few movies and dramas about his creations. Even though I have read a lot of his masterpieces, The Merchant of Venice is still the most unforgettable playwright and also the representative of his works I have ever read.

The Merchant of Venice was considered Shakespeare's most controversial play and one of the most fabulous masterpieces of describing misers in the literature. Antonio who was the merchant of Venice and Bassanio were good friends, and Bassanio was in favor of a young witty lady called Portia but he lacked money to make a proposal. So Antonio went to find Shylock who was a ruthless Jew usurer to borrow for 3000 ducats. Shylock was used to be bullied by Antonio in Rialto and this time he wanted to revenge so that he came up with a treaty that if Antonio didn’t hand in the money in time, he would acquire a pound of fresh meat from him. Unfortunately, Antonio’s only pocketbook ( goods overseas) was damaged, his ships had sea accidents. He couldn’t afford 3000 ducats in time and he was frustrated, but on the day he was going to execute, Portia and her servant pretending as intellectual judges came and helped Antonio escaping with bare life.

I feel sorry for the little poor Jewish Shylock. He used to do nothing wrong but just rose the interest a little bit higher, but Antonio who was a kind Christian merchant disagreed with his action so then he started to scold at him and even spitted at him. So it was understandable why Shylock was furious and shameless all the time.

The Merchant of Venice was a play combines racial discrimination and love, and that makes the drama hard to act. With the help of Shakespeare's Globe Theater, students in Beijing Academy learnt how to perform with their real sentiments. I benefitted a lot from the actors in Shakespeare's Globe Theater. An actor named Kevin taught the students (from class 3, grade nine) some body gestures to act our emotions out, it was fascinating and I would like to try more in the next time.

Few days after having lessons with professional actors, I went to the Grand National Theatre to watch Shakespeare's Globe Theater's performance of the play of The Merchant of Venice. During the performance, I could easily see different characters' emotions easily from their appearance and the way they talk or by watching their uses of body gestures.

In my opinion, metaphors and conversations made Shakespeare's plays famous and enduring and body gestures made the drama alive and bubbly. I enjoy watching his masterpiece and I love learning from the Shakespeare's Globe Theater. I am looking forward to learnig more from SGT and Shakespeare's plays.

喜剧的哀伤

——记学习、观看《威尼斯商人》的感悟

记得一年前，我在清华大学的蒙民伟音乐厅中观看了《威尼斯商人》。那场话剧剧中人物的鲜明特征、剧情的戏剧性转变，给我留下了深刻的印象，我从此也迷上了这莎士比亚四大喜剧之一——《威尼斯商人》。

这次莎士比亚环球剧团走访北京中学，我也许是最期待的。剧团组织的工作坊中，老师为我们设计了四个活动，循序渐进地让我们了解了如何将自己的肢体语言从突出重点升华为体现事件状态及人物性格。部分同学也有幸到国家大剧院，观赏剧团演出《威尼斯商人》。

整场话剧，每一刻的剧情，都被演员们的精彩演技变得动人心魄。演员们演技超群，不时能联系话剧与现实，制造爆笑的场景。可是就在最后，在那宁静的夜中，在朋友的团聚中，画面突然一转，变成了我从未想到的一幕。那个贯穿了整剧的反派夏洛克，跟随着主教等人进行受洗，他的绝望、痛苦表现得淋漓尽致。

走出剧院时，心里都很不是滋味。以前从未想过，夏洛克对基督教徒如此憎恨是为什么。这不仅是因为基督教徒让他的女儿背叛自己，更是因为基督教徒对他的侮辱。威尼斯的基督徒，不过把他这个异邦人当成畜生。只因彼与己道不相同，便如此对待，实在让人心寒。

莎士比亚的著作之所以能经久不衰，便是因为它描述了人间百态。几百年之后，其中的一些伦理道德及哲学问题仍旧会值得深究。《威尼斯商人》便是如此。

2016国家大剧院国际戏剧季：英国环球莎士比亚剧院《威尼斯商人》

莎士比亚名著《威尼斯商人》以前我就学过，但是没有留下太深的印象。前不久，我们很有幸跟莎士比亚环球剧院的主创和主要演员亲密接触，使我对它有了新的感受......

《威尼斯商人》讲述了贝尔蒙特一位继承了万贯家财的女郎鲍西娅给她的追求者们出了一个谜题。胜出者将抱得美人归而猜错的人将失去她及更多的东西。此时的威尼斯正处于消费、投机和债务的涡流中。年轻的威尼斯人巴萨尼奥对鲍西娅志在必得，于是向好友安东尼奥借钱以期达成所愿。而手上没有余钱的安东尼奥只好向放高利贷的夏洛克借钱。合约规定，安东尼奥的商船回到威尼斯后还清；如果商船不能按期返回，钱还不上的话，安东尼奥就要拿自己的一磅肉偿还夏洛克的贷款。结果商船因故没有按时返回，夏洛克便让安东尼奥履行诺言……

莎士比亚环球剧院每次巡演都会选择到世界上一些最叹为观止的场所，以伊丽莎白时代粗犷豪放且算不上华丽的风格讲述气势恢宏、简洁精练的莎翁故事。莎士比亚环球剧院巡演部将伊丽莎白时代的巡演剧院重新改造。在设计灵感来自于伊丽莎白时代的镜像的舞台上，重现早期戏剧的诙谐与精彩。这次更将莎士比亚名剧搬到了国家大剧院的舞台上，让我们这些中国的学生有幸近距离感受古典名著的魅力。

日前，我们在国家大剧院，亲身感受了莎士比亚创作高度紧张的写作手法，莎士比亚将对立的诉求戏剧化，如宽容与偏私、宗教法规与世俗群体、正义与慈悲；而在夏洛克的性格刻画上，莎翁却创造了一个所有戏剧中最为难忘的“外来人”形象......

这次，我看到了莎士比亚经典戏剧与现代声光、舞台设计的完美结合，更是感受到这令人叹为观止的艺术，给我留下了深刻的印象。
